Create classification assignment

On this page you can view or delete an existing classification assignment or add a new one.

Note: By clicking the assignment is simply displayed. For editing the entry you have to add a new entry and activate the option overwrite existing entries. This way the original assignment is overwritten.

The following information is displayed, you can enter:

• The source classification system is shown
• The source classification number can be chosen
• The default classification system is shown
• The default classification number can be chosen

  create symmetrical entry

  If there is an existing entry, it is only overwritten when the option "overwrite existing entries" is set. Note: It has to be considered that symmetrical entries (entries with the displayed default as source and the displayed source as default) can only be added if several source qualifications haven't been assigned to this default classification or would be assigned as a consequence. Otherwise there would be loss of integrity between source and target which would make the refresh of product classifications impossible. For this reason, this case is intercepted automatically.

  overwrite existing entries

  The entry with the identical source classification number is replaced.
