System shutdown

On this page a shutdown (system stop) can be requested and information sent to logged on users. After the system stop is requested, users can no longer log on.

System Stop

In this section you select the following settings:

Choose a server

Choose an applicable server from the list

Shutdown time

You can choose the time when the shutdown should take place

You can choose between0, 1, 5, 10 and 60 Minutes

Shutdown message

Under Shutdown message a message can be entered that will be sent to all logged on users (and to those who try to log on) to inform them that a system stop is necessary.

Note: The user with the user name "root" can still log on when a system stop is requested.
