Company profile - Address tab

On this tab, you can assign addresses to the company and specify the company's default addresses. You can also add multimedia files, text and Internet links to the company profile.

Standard addresses

In this section, you can select a contact address, a recipient address, an invoice address and a mailroom address as the default addresses for the company.

Note: You can only make a selection here if you have already assigned addresses to the company in the Assigned addresses section.

In each selection list, only assigned addresses with the corresponding attribute are available. For example, in the Invoice address selection list, only addresses that are displayed in the Assigned addresses list and have the attribute Invoice address are available.

The mailroom and invoice addresses that you select here are displayed as the default addresses in the baskets of all users belonging to the company, unless other mailroom and invoice addresses have been specified in the basic contract.

Users can define their own contact addresses and, if authorized to do so by the administrator, they can define their own recipient addresses and select these addresses in their baskets. If a user has not specified a contact or recipient address, the default addresses selected here are used in his baskets.

Tip: Click the All addresses button to view a list of all addresses for the company and to create new addresses.

Assigned addresses

In this section, you can assign addresses to the company. These addresses are available to all users belonging to the company in their baskets and in their profile.

To assign addresses, select them in the Available addresses list and click the icon to transfer them to the Assigned addresses list. Click the icon to remove an address assignment. See Assignment lists for more information on working with these lists.

Address settings

If you do not want users to select a specific address type in their baskets, activate the check box for this address type in this section. For example, if you do not want users to be able to select an invoice address, activate the check box Invoice address is read- only.

If you set one of the addresses here as read-only, this address can no longer be edited by the user for the order item in the basket, on the Addresses tab of the order item. Only the invoice and mailroom address are displayed, the icons for retrieving further addresses are missing. In the templates, this applies to the user’s company, but not the ordering company. In the profile, only copies of this address can be edited.
