This page displays a list of all numbering schemes that you are authorized to edit. Expired numbering schemes are indicated by the icon .
Purchasers can only create, view and edit numbering schemes for the companies to which they are assigned as purchaser. See Numbering schemes - Basics for more information on numbering schemes.
The page is divided into the following tabs:

Current |
Displays only numbering schemes that are currently in use. No predecessors or successors are displayed. If there are only expired numbering schemes for a procedure, the latest one to expire is displayed. Expired numbering schemes are indicated by a grey icon |

Pattern |
The pattern specifies the format in which numbers are assigned. For example, the pattern Order-####-@Y4 results in the numbers Order-1234-2007, Order-1235-2007, Order-1236-2007, etc. See Formats for numbering schemes for more information and examples. |
End value |
The highest number that may be used in the numbering scheme |
Current value |
The next number that will allocated by the system |
Start date |
Date on which the numbering scheme becomes valid. The numbering scheme cannot be used before this date. |
End date |
Date on which the numbering scheme expires. If successors have been defined for the numbering scheme, the system uses the next successor when the end date has expired. |
Usage |
Indicates the object for which the numbering scheme is valid, for example, orders, delivery notes, etc. |
