The definition of control structures, as for example cost centres or projects, allows for an economic allocation of expenses that incur in connection with orders. In combination with budgets and authorization rules, control structures can be used to monitor, control and restrict expenses. You can for example specify which companies and users can order goods for a certain type of costs, if the order of certain goods is connected with certain control structures via a basic contract, or if requests for goods for a certain project have to be approved.
Control structures can be assigned to companies, users and basic contracts. Users can select control structures in the basket.
