Delete messages (scheduled task)

This task deletes the messages in the lobby (except system messages) if their expiry date has been reached.

Recommended execution interval

Depending on the volume of messages and deletion habits of users, we recommend at least monthly.

Dependencies on other scheduled tasks

No negative effects known, but for safety do not run in parallel with ‘e-mail/message-producing’ tasks.

Attention: Not every message has an expiry date, so this can currently only be configured for messages that are sent via the e-mail distributor.
