Viewing order and invoice statistics
You can view statistics that help you to analyze your orders and invoices. These statistics can be displayed as a list or as a hierarchy. Sophisticated search functions enable you to group orders and invoices by specific criteria and view the totals. For example, you can group orders by year and month, buying company, supplier, status, cost unit, etc.
A statistics matrix provides quick access to a specific combination of search criteria, such as all confirmed orders for a specific supplier.
Viewing a list of order or invoice statistics
- Select the menu item Statistics.
- Click the link for the item for which you want to view statistics: Orders (list) or Invoices (list).
The Order statistic or Invoice statistic page is displayed. Select the menu item Help to display detailed information about this page.
- In the selection lists, select the search criteria that you want to use.
- In the first selection list, select a search criterion from the list of available criteria.
- In the second list, select an operator. The operator specifies the condition that must be met, for example, is equal to (=) or is less than (<).
- In the third selection list, enter or select the value to which the search criterion must correspond.
For example, to search for all orders exported by a the buying company Agora AG for the supplier Foliantec in the month of January 2007, select the following:

To add an additional search line, click the icon
. To add a line that specifies an alternative, for example, Supplier A or Supplier B, click the icon
. Click the icon
to delete a search line.

- Click the Display results button to confirm the search criteria and display the results.
Viewing a hierarchy of orders or invoices
- Select the menu item Statistics.
- Click the link for the item for which you want to view statistics: Orders (hierarchy) or Invoices (hierarchy).
- The Order statistics or Invoice statistics page is displayed. Select the menu item Help to display detailed information about this page.
- In the Date from and Date to fields, enter the time period for which you want to view statistics.
- In the Status from and Status to selection lists, select the status types that you want to display.
- If orders or invoices from sub-companies should be included in the totals for a company, activate the checkbox Include sub-companies.
- If gross prices should be displayed instead of net prices, activate the checkbox Gross prices.
- Click the Update display button to confirm your selections.
- The statistics are grouped by the following categories: Company, Supplier, Type of costs, Cost center, Project and Credit card. Click the icon
to view further levels of detail for a category. For example, when you click the icon
for the category Company, all companies to which you are assigned are displayed. The totals for each company are displayed next to the company name. To view a further breakdown of costs for a company, click the icon
next to the company name. You can then view the costs, for example, for each cost centre or each project.
Viewing the statistics matrix
- Select the menu item Statistics.
- Click the link Matrix.
- The Statistics page is displayed.
- Click the icon
at the intersection in the matrix for the grouping that you want to display. For example, to view all orders that have been sent grouped by month, click the icon
at the intersection of the column Month and the row Sent. - The Order statistics page is displayed. Select the menu item Help to display detailed information about this page.
