Managing catalogs (Suppliers)

You can upload existing catalogs from your computer to the Impact Ordering system or you can create new catalogs in Impact Ordering. You can upload catalogs that are available in the following formats:

• BMEcat 1.01 and BMEcat 1.2

  This format is issued by the Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik e. V (see www.bmecat.com/English for more information).

• HH XML 1x

  This format is the Healy Hudson Software GmbH standard proprietary XML format

You can edit catalogs using the catalog editor. You can structure your catalog by creating product groups and adding products to these groups. You can specify product details, prices, product attributes and references. You can also add multimedia data such as pictures and preview how the product information will be displayed to users of the catalog.
