Country - Details

In this dialogue box you can create a new country, maintain the settings for an existing country or delete the settings. At the same time, you specify which information users have for selection.

Note: The purchase of a licence is required to activate a language.

Country field

Unique country code.
Enter the official country code, e.g. DE for Germany. ISO 3166 contains a list of all country codes.

Visible

Using the Country Visible option, you specify whether the country is available in the personal user profile.

Language-dependent designations of the country: For every configured language, a designation must be assigned to the country

Language

Unique language code.
Enter the official language code, e.g. de for German. ISO 639 contains a list of all language codes.

Visible:

Using the Language Visible option, you specify

  • whether this language is available to users in their personal user profile
  • the relevant country flag is visible on the logon screen
  • the designations that are language-dependent must be entered in all configured languages.

Name

Language-dependent designations of the country’s language.

Coding

Character set for the browser.
Enter the corresponding code for the required character set here.

Currency data field

Currency

Unique currency code, as in ISO-4217.
Enter the official abbreviation for the currency here, e.g. DEM for Deutsche Mark.

Visible

Using the Currency Visible option, you specify whether the currency is available to users in their personal user profile.
This option also specifies whether the conversion rate for the currency of that country is listed in the Conversion Rates dialogue box.

Conversion rate

Enter the conversion rate of the reference currency (EUR) here. If the current currency is the reference currency, enter 1 here.

Decimal places:

Number of decimal places displayed for this currency.

Prefix

Currency character displayed in front of an amount, e.g. $400.00

Neg. prefix

Currency character displayed in front of a negative amount, e.g. -$400.00

Suffix

Currency code displayed after an amount, e.g. 400.00 DEM.

Neg. suffix

Currency code displayed after a negative amount, e.g. - 400.00 DEM.
