On this page, you can define a new demand start filter and change or delete an existing filter. A demand start filter is automatically approved, therefore you do not have to assign approvers. Requests that correspond to the filter set here are marked as demands and further processed in Quotation/RFQ or in Auctions. As soon as the rule applies, the order is sent as a demand to the purchaser's cockpit (Orders / RFQs/Auctions) for further processing. The purchaser can choose whether he wants to start an RFQ/Auction or order directly.
General Settings
Setting |
Description |
---|---|
Name |
Name of the rule. Assign a name that is as descriptive as possible so that you can easily recognise the purpose of the rule. Rule names must be unique within the system. |
Owning company |
Name of the company that is responsible for administering the rule. Enter the name in the input field or search for it. Note: The owning company is not necessarily the company for which the rule applies. The company for which the rule applies is defined in the conditions of the rule. The owning company simply determines which company administrators may view and make changes to the rule. |
Conditions
In this section, you can specify the condition that must be met in order for the demand start filter rule to take effect. You can select only one of the following options:
Option |
Description |
---|---|
Contract |
Enter or search for the name of the contract to which the rule should apply. |
Company |
Enter or search for the name of the company for which the rule should apply. |
Rule only for selected company |
Activate this option if the rule should apply only for the company entered in the Company input field. If this option is activated, subsidiary companies of this company are not affected by the rule. |
Freeform order |
Activate this option if the rule should apply to all freeform orders. |
Price rule |
Activate this option if price rules should determine whether requests should be marked as demands. Note: If you do not activate this option, conditions and price settings are treated as an AND operator. |
Price limits
Note: Prices can be defined as the sole condition if you activate the option Price rule. If this option is not activated, the prices are linked to one of the other conditions and both settings must apply.
See Basket rule - Price limits for information on the options in this section.
