This page displays details of a complaint item. If the complaint has not been closed, you can edit the details. If the complaint has been closed, you can only view the details.

Note: Depending on which treatment you select, you may have to change the distributed amount. If you select the treatment Price reduction, the section New price for amount complaint is displayed for you to enter the new price.

Original price

Price of the product

If you select the treatment Price reduction, you can enter a new price, which is displayed alongside the original price.

Original tax rate

Tax rate for the product

If you select the treatment Price reduction, you can enter a new tax rate, which is displayed alongside the original tax rate.

New price

(only if selected treatment is price reduction)

Displays the new price per unit, which is calculated on the basis of the information you entered in the section New price for amount complaint

New tax rate

(only if selected treatment is price reduction)

Displays the new tax rate, if you selected a different tax rate in the section New price for amount complaint

When you agree a price reduction with a supplier, you can enter the new price as follows:

  • Net unit price: If you have agreed a new unit price, enter the new unit price in this field and, if necessary, select a currency from the list or enter a new tax rate.
  • Discount: If you have agreed a discount, enter the percentage discount in this field.
  • Total price: If you have agreed a new total price (rather than unit price), enter the new total price in this field and,  if necessary, select a currency from the list or enter a new tax rate.

    The new unit price is calculated on the basis of your entries and displayed in the New price field. If you entered a new tax rate, the new tax rate is displayed in the New tax rate field.

Note: Once you have entered a reduced price, you cannot increase the price again.

Further complaints

If another complaint has already been issued for the product, the corresponding details are displayed (position number, complaint number, complaint date, amount, reason, treatment and user).

Distribution

Depending on which treatment you select, you may have to change the value in the fields Dist. amount or Amount. The number in the field Amount is always the amount affected by the complaint. The distributed amount is the quantity of the item that remains in the company that ordered the item. This quantity is distributed among the people who requested the goods.

For example, if you have ordered 10 units and 15 units have been delivered, the complaint amount is 5, because of a surplus of delivered units. If you return the surplus units (and select the treatment back), the complaint amount is 5 and the distributed amount 10. If you accept the additionally delivered items, the complaint amount is 0 (zero) and the distributed amount is 15.

Enter the appropriate amounts and click Apply to save your changes.
