Viewing the company hierarchy

You can display a hierarchical overview of the companies that you are authorized to edit. For each company, the subsidiary companies, employees, catalogs, basic contracts and accounting control structures are displayed. The company hierarchy provides rapid access to these objects for editing purposes.

  1. On the Company Administration page, click the Company hierarchy link.

    All companies that you are authorized to edit are displayed on the Company hierarchy page. Select the menu item Help to display detailed information about this page.

    By default, only purchasing companies are displayed. To view different types of companies, activate the appropriate check boxes and click the Update display button.

  2. Click the icon to display the data for a company.
  3. To view or edit the data for an object, click the name of the object. To display a list of all objects in a specific category, click the name of the category. For example, to display the Users list, click Employees.

Note: You can only view and edit an object if you have the appropriate user rights.
