Defining control structures
Control structures, such as cost centres and projects, can be used in conjunction with budgets and approval rules to monitor, control and restrict expenditure.
Control structures can be assigned to companies, users and basic contracts. Users can select or enter the control structure items to which orders should be allocated in their baskets.
- On the Company Administration page, click the link for the type of control structure that you want to create:
- Types of costs
- Cost centers
- Projects
- Credit cards
A list of all available control structures of this type is displayed. The list displays only items that you are authorized to edit.
- Click:
- the New entry button to create a new control structure
to edit an existing control structure
