Managing quantity requests
When several people request the same items, as an order dispatcher you can bundle these items in a single purchase order, which enables you to achieve a higher order quantity and take advantage of volume discounts. When you want to order a specific product, you could just wait until enough people have requested the product - but you do not have to wait. With Impact Ordering, you can send a requisition query to people who may need the product. They can then inform you of their requirements by replying to the query.
A requisition query is a special type of template. Requisition query templates are created by order dispatchers and can be assigned to individual users or all users of specific companies. When the order dispatcher activates the query, it is made available to the assigned users for a specified period. The query template is displayed in the users' basket list and they also receive a corresponding message in their lobby. The users reply to the message by creating a personal copy of the template, entering the quantity they require and submitting the query, just as they would submit a normal requisition. Unlike normal requisitions, however, requisition queries do not require approval.
The order dispatcher can check the status of the query to see how many replies have been received.
