Demand bundling (scheduled task)

Essentially used for bundling, i.e. for summarising price queries. As well as bundling, requests for quotations are sent and incoming quotations read.

Parameters

Path: Here, you enter the path to the import directory, which must contain the sub-directories To do, Done and Error.

The purchaser can receive an e-mail to the specified mailbox (POP3 server, user name and password), from which the file is extracted. The " Demand bundling" scheduled task copies the file to the Todo directory under the specified path. The e- mail is then automatically deleted from the purchaser’s mailbox and is moved to the Done directory after the task has been run.

A confirmation of receipt should only be requested if this is supported by the e-mail system.

As maintenance of insufficient (address) data can result in temporary interruptions in sending, the sending option is implemented at intervals. This attempts to send the e-mail until it is successful.

Recommended execution interval

Every 5 to 60 minutes during business hours, depending on expected use
