Your rights in the system are determined by the authorization sets that have been assigned to you.
An authorization set is a collection of individual rights which allow users to perform specific actions in the system, such as creating baskets, approving requests, editing users, etc.
Mutually exclusive authorization sets
Mutually exclusive authorization sets are authorization sets that can be assigned simultaneously to a user but not used simultaneously by that user, such as Requester and Buyer. These authorization sets cannot be used at the same time, as this may violate the catalog rights of the user.
For example: a user is a Buyer for company A and catalog X and at the same time requester for company B and catalog Y. Theoretically he thus has the right to place products from catalog X and catalog Y in his basket. However, as Requester he may only order products from catalog Y and as Buyer only products from catalog X.
Changing your authorization set or company
If mutually exclusive authorization sets have been assigned to you, you must always select an authorization set for exactly one company.
In the title bar on each page in the system the current authorization set is displayed and in parentheses the current company.
The Change authorization set page is displayed.
In the catalog search only the catalogs that are valid for the selected company and authorization set, are available. In the same way, in the basket list only the baskets are displayed for which the selected company and authorization set are valid.
