Settings for messages - Details

On this page you can specify how your messages should be displayed in the lobby.

Note: You can only change the settings for messages if your administrator has given you permission to do this.

Depending on your user rights, messages may be displayed in the sections System, Status, Approvals and News (see Message types). You can select the following options for each section.

Position in the lobby

In the Position in the lobby selection list, select the order in which the message types should be displayed in the lobby. For each message type, select whether this type should be displayed in the first place, in the second place, in the third place or in the forth place. You must select different entries for each message type.

Maximum number of entries shown

Enter a number in the field Maximum number of entries shown. A maximum of this number of entries will be shown in the lobby for this message type.

Note: You can click the icon or All messages button in the lobby to display all messages that are not displayed because they exceed the specified maximum.

E-mail notifications in addition

All message types are displayed in the lobby. To receive messages by e-mail as well, you must enter a valid e-mail address in your contact address in your profile (see Adding a new address to your profile). For the various message types you can select whether and how often you want to receive the messages by e-mail.

Note: Which messages are listed here depends on your user rights. See Message types for detailed information about message types.

For each message type, select one of the following options:

Option	Description
	Messages of this type are never sent by e-mail.
	Messages of this type are only sent once by e-mail. As long as an unread message of this type is present in the lobby, no more messages of this type will be sent by e-mail. You will only receive messages of this type again when you have read the messages that are present in the lobby.
	Messages of this type are always sent by e-mail.
