Lobby

Page finder

The lobby shows messages and notes for the current user. To display the lobby, select the menu item Lobby.

Messages may be sent by other users or generated automatically by the system, for example, to inform you of the status of an order. Which types of message are displayed depends on your user rights. See Message types for more information about the various message types.

Delegated users

This section is displayed if other users select you as their deputy and activate the deputy function. Click the icon to log on as deputy of a user. See Assigning a deputy and acting as deputy for more information about deputies.

Pending Orders

Receipt of goods is stille pending for orders displayed in this section. Klick on the link There are ... orders waiting for delivery to record receipt of goods.

Messages

Depending on your user rights, messages may be displayed in the sections System, Status, Approvals and News

A message section is only displayed if messages of this type are present. You can specify which and how many messages should be displayed in the lobby and in which order the messages are displayed (see Changing settings for messages).

Note: You can only change the settings for messages if your administrator has given you permission to do this.

This icon is displayed when a message section contains more messages than should be displayed in the lobby.

Example: more_messages_approval_en.

Click this icon to display all messages in this section.

Click the check box to select messages for deletion . To delete selected messages, click the Delete button.

Click this icon to read an unread message.

Click this icon to read a message that you have already read.

Click this icon or the message text to go directly to the page in the system where you can view details of or edit the subject of the message.

For example, when you click the name of a message informing you that a purchase request has been approved, details of the approval are displayed.

Note: If in your user profile the option Lobby subject message link points to message (instead of a corresponding page) is activated, the message itself instead of details of the message is displayed.

Click this icon to forward the message to users who do not have access to Impact Ordering.

Notes

This section displays the date and time at which you last logged on to the system and the number of unread messages.
