Uploading catalogs (Suppliers)

You can upload catalogs that are available on your computer in BMEcat 1.01 and BMEcat 1.2 or HH XML 1x format to the Impact Ordering system. You can upload new catalogs or update catalogs have already been uploaded. See Managing catalogs for more information about the prerequisites for uploading catalogs.

1. Select the menu item Supplier.
2. Click the Catalogs link.
3. Click the Catalog upload link.

   The Catalog upload page is displayed. Select the menu item Help to display detailed information about this page.

4. Select:
   • Import new catalog to upload a new catalog.

     If you want to create an additional catalog that contains only core products, activate the option Create additional core catalog and enter a name extension. The name extension makes it easier to differentiate between the full catalog and the catalog that contains only core products.

     Select the buyer companies that should be able to use the catalog and click the icon to assign the companies to the catalog.

   • Update catalog (price list import) to update an existing catalog

     Select the catalog that you want to update from the Catalog selection list.

     If the prices in this catalog should only be visible for a specific company, activate the option Prices only visibly for buyer company and select the company from the list.

5. Click the Next button to upload multimedia files, such as pictures, for the catalog. For each file that you want to upload, enter the path and name of the file, or click the Browse button to search for the file, then click the Upload button. The uploaded files are displayed in the Last files section.
6. Click the Next button to specify the catalog file and complete the upload. Enter the path and name of the catalog file, or click the Browse button to search for the file, then click the Upload button.
7. Select:
   • Start import now to start the upload immediately
   • Start import later and enter a date and time to start the import at a later time
8. Click Save to complete the catalog upload.
