Adding multimedia files to products

You can add multimedia files, text and Internet links to the product information for a product. Multimedia files may be, for example, images, sound, PDF files, etc.

1. Display the product for which you want to add multimedia files (see Editing products).
2. Click the Multimedia tab.

Adding multimedia files stored outside Impact Ordering

1. Enter the path and file name in the input field or click the Browse button to search for the file.
2. Click the Upload button.

   Pictures are displayed directly, other types of file are displayed as a link. Click the link to open the file.

Adding multimedia files stored in the Impact Ordering system

1. Click the Add button.

   The Multimedia data page is displayed. Select the menu item Help to display detailed information about this page.

2. If necessary, search for the item you want (see Searching for information).
3. Click the icon to add the file.

   Files stored in the system are displayed directly. You do not have to click a link.

Adding text and Internet links

Enter the text or the address of the Internet page in the input field and click the New Text/Link button.

Note: Internet links are recognized even if you do not enter http://.

Changing the display type and order

• In the selection list Display type for the multimedia item, select the way in which the item should be displayed, for example, as a thumbnail (a smaller version of a picture) or as a diagram.
• In the input field Display order for the multimedia item, enter a number to indicate the position of the item on the page. For example, enter 1 if the item should be shown at the top in the Multimedia section.

Editing the properties of multimedia items

1. Click the Edit button next to the item that you want to edit.

   The Multimedia page is displayed. Select the menu item Help to display detailed information about this page.

2. Make the necessary changes, for example, change the width and height of a picture, and click Save.

Deleting multimedia items

Click the Delete next to the attachment button.
