Creating special catalogs
In addition to the supplier catalogs that can be imported into Impact Ordering and user catalogs, which provide a view of the supplier catalogs, a variety of other types of catalogs can be created and used. Most of these catalogs are created by scheduled tasks and can only be created by users with the authorization set Administrator. See Catalog types for detailled information about these catalogs.
- Core catalogs contain only products that are marked with the attribute Core product in the supplier catalog.
- Super catalogs can be created by an administrator from all catalogs that are available to him.
- eCl@ss-catalogs contain all products that have been classified according to the eCl@ss standard.
- Catalogs for CPD freeform orders make it possible to order products that are not contained in any catalog.
- OCI-catalogs are external catalogs that use the OCI interface (Open Catalog Interface). With OCI it is possible to use catalogs from other catalog systems or catalogs that offer more than the usual range of goods of conventional catalogs. Via the OCI interface, Impact Ordering catalogs can also be made available to other ordering systems.
