Creating and editing value contracts

You can restrict the maximum order value or the maximum order amount for a basic contract or certain products of a basic contract by creating value contracts and amount contracts. You can find further information about value and amount contracts under Managing budget contracts and quotas.

You can create value contracts for an entire basic contract (BC catalogue), for contracting categories, for product groups and / or for separate products.

1. On the page supplier administration click the link Budget contracts and quotas.

   The page Budget contracts and quotas is displayed.

2. Click :
   • the button New entry, to enter new budget contracts for a basic contract. For a new budget contract, you first have to select or enter the basic contract.
   • the icon to edit an existing entry

   The page Budget contracts and quotas is displayed.

   On the tab Summary you see an overview and statistics about all value contracts and amount contracts that have been created for this basic contract.

3. Click the necessary tab to create a budget contract.
4. Click the button Add value contract ....

   Note: For each basic contract, only one value contract can be created on the basis of the basic contract. If one value contract already exists, this will be displayed on the tab Contract.

   Input fields for the creation of the budget contracts are displayed.

5. If necessary, select one option in the first field or enter the necessary information. Select for example a product group or enter a product name.
6. In the field Start value, enter the net start value for the value contract and in the field Residual value, enter the current net residual value for the value contract.

   The data in Consumption and Consumption rate as well as the total values are calculated and entered automatically after you have saved or changed to another tab.

7. Click:
   • the icon   to delete a value contract
   • the icon   to enter quota for the value contract (see ...)
   • the button Add value contract, to add another value contract
   • the button Save to save your entries
