Complaint configuration - Details

On this page, you can edit and delete an existing complaint configuration and create a new configuration. Complaint configurations determine which treatments can be selected when complaints are issued. See Complaint configurations list for more information.

In the Owning company field, enter or search for the name of the company responsible for administration of the complaint configuration.

In the Name field, enter a name for the complaint configuration and select the appropriate settings for each of the following complaint reasons.

• Ordered, but not delivered
• Not ordered
• Over shipment
• Short quantity
• Replacement supply
• Already cancelled
• Not needed any more
• Defect
• Wrong delivery address
• Cross delivery date
• Quality defect

Treatments

For each complaint reason, you can specify which of the following treatments users may select for the goods that are the subject of the complaint.

Note: All options are displayed in each section. Options displayed in grey text cannot be used for this complaint reason. For example, accept cannot be used for short quantities, because one cannot accept what has not been delivered.

Option	Description
accept	Accept the delivery of the goods
cancel	Cancel the goods
reorder original	If a substitute product has been delivered, reorder the original product
reorder	Reorder the goods
price reduction	This treatment can be selected if a reduction in price has been agreed with the supplier. In this case, the reduced price must be entered on the Complaint item page
back	Return the goods to the supplier
back and cancel original	If a substitute product has been delivered, return the substitute product to the supplier and cancel the original product
back and reorder original	If a substitute product has been delivered, return the substitute product to the supplier and reorder the original product
back and wait for delivery	Return the goods to the supplier and wait for a new delivery
partial delivery	Record the delivery of goods as a partial delivery
dispose	Dispose of the goods
dispose and cancel original	Dispose of the goods and cancel the original order
dispose and reorder original	Dispose of the goods and reorder the original goods
dispose and wait for delivery	Dispose of the goods and wait for a new delivery
