Entering addresses for a company

You can assign default contact, recipient, invoice and mailroom addresses to a company and also assign additional addresses that may be selected by users when they submit their baskets.

Note: Before you can assign addresses to a company, you must create the addresses that you want to use and assign the company to these addresses. See Managing addresses for more information.

  1. In the company profile, click the Addresses tab.
  2. In the Assigned addresses section, select and assign the addresses that should be available for use by the company and its users. See Assignment lists in the General information for all users guide for more information about assigning items.
  3. In the Standard addresses section, select the default contact, recipient, invoice and mailroom addresses.

    In each selection list, only assigned addresses with the corresponding attribute are available. For example, in the Invoice address selection list, only addresses that are displayed in the Assigned addresses list and have the attribute Invoice address are available.

  4. If you do not want users to select a specific address type in their baskets, in the Address settings section, select the appropriate option. For example, if you do not want users to be able to select an invoice address, activate the check box Invoice address is read-only.

    The default invoice address is then used in baskets.

  5. Click Save.
