Managing catalogs and products

Users with appropriate rights can manage the catalogs and the products contained within the catalogs in Impact Ordering.

Supplier catalogs can be imported by using the catalog import or uploaded into the Impact Ordering system with the catalog Upload.

You can create user catalogs, which are comprised of the product data of one or more supplier catalogs. You can also create special user catalogs, such as classification catalogs (for example, eCl@ss) or core product catalogs directly in Impact Ordering or create from the supplier catalogs during the catalog import. See Catalog types for more information.

In the catalog editor, you can add new product groups and products to catalogs and change and supplement the product data.

After a catalog has been imported, you can, for example, compare the newly imported catalog with an existing catalog and approve a new or changed catalog.
